How to Limit Political Contributions from Russian Oligarchs

On July 1, 2021, the Supreme Court struck down California’s law requiring nonprofits to provide a list of names and addresses of donors who contributed over $5,000 or more or 2% or more of total donations to the Attorney General. According to the Court, donors would be subject to speech-chilling harassment, thereby violating the First Amendment.
